Adaptation Adapting the necessary conventional and mainly innovative agricultural technologies paradigm from the AUA university curriculum to the VET training
Transferring the necessary theoretical and practical knowledge, that explains how agricultural processes can be combined with cutting-edge approaches, such as AI, AR, and IoT. The necessary material will be formed through adaptation utilizing content from the curriculum of the Agricultural University and the MWAPP company, in order the VET curriculum to be enriched with pilot and educationally fruitful examples. Designing educational scenarios, assisted by the experience of the MWAPP partner, that facilitate the understanding of AI and IoT and exploit their link with the equally important AR technology for supporting sensing, acting and decision actions.

Project Management Include actions related to management, coordination (operational & financial), communication (internal & external), quality assurance
Project management activities include actions related to management, coordination (operational & financial), communication (internal & external), quality assurance. The DIEK Aigaleo, a public VET institution will play the main role in the management activities. Apart from being the coordinating partner and thus responsible for the submission of the official documents to the EU, it will provide the main core of VET trainers and trainees participating in the SmartAg4VET project. Furthermore, in its premises most of the education and dissemination activities will take place. The AUA partner will have to investigate ways for an optimal communication flow among the members of this consortium and members of the research and education community, students and farmers. The MWAPP partner will also play a non-negligible role because, as a high-tech company, that can offer expertise in software products and educational practices that foster the AR technology utilization. The management requires continuous participation, from the first ice-breaking activities among the partners to the dissemination results stage. This activity will guaranty and verify the quality of the actions and the material generated during the SmartAg4VET project. Meetings mainly virtual and one or two physical will be included. The management requires continuous participation, from the first ice-breaking activities among the partners to the dissemination results stage.

Training VET Trainers Training VET trainers in the context of focusing on IoT, AI, AR paradigm and artifacts that are directly related with environmental and agricultural processes
The outcomes of the previous activity “Adapting the necessary conventional and mainly innovative agricultural technologies paradigm from the AUA university curriculum to the VET training”, i.e., pilot educational scenarios involving both digital content and supportive equipment (artifacts) will be further refined and used in order to train a selected set of VET trainers. These trainers, at a later stage, will train VET trainees, assisted/supervised by people from the AUA partner. The VET specilizations participating in this activity will be “Automation Technicians” , "Renewable Energy Technicians" and “Computer Technicians”. Small deviations are expected to these specilization composition due to the yearly approval of the VETs programs by the government. Selecting the “key” components to be kept and enriching them with artifacts. Support for Educational Material Indicative fields of the pilot educational activities: Sensors (Environmental, GPS) / Actuators (water pumps, heaters, ventilators) / Automatic Control (feedback - PID)/ Renewables (Solar - Wind)/ IoT (Wi-Fi)/ AI / AR / Physical Computing and their interconnection.

Training VET Trainees Training VET trainees in the context of focusing on IoT, AI, AR paradigm and artifacts that are directly related with environmental and agricultural processes
The VET trainers having acquired better skills on digital technologies modernising agriculture, assisted by their educators from the AUA partner assisted by the MWAPP partner, will train VET trainees in order the later group to demystify and be able to exploit the digital transformation of agriculture and its sustainability potential. By this way, more opportunities will be created for jobs and for inclusion of the less favored persons in the modernized agricultural sector. According to the educational material, provided and further enriched mainly by the AUA partner, for the trainees, these trainees during their formal fourth period of studies will be involved in both in-vivo experiences and artifact creations facilitating their attitude as future professionals. In accordance to the overall pilot educational scenarios plan, the training activities with the trainees will be relevant with the following areas: Sensors (Environmental, GPS) / Actuators (water pumps, heaters, ventilators) / Automatic Control (feed back - PID)/ Renewables (Solar - Wind)/ IoT (Wi-Fi)/ AI /AR / Physical Computing and their interoperation.

Skill Verification Verifying the skills acquired by all the trainers and trainees
Testing/verifying the skills acquired by the trainees by encouraging their engagement in actions including visiting groups of farmers in Cyprus for assisting them. These skills will be measured by using questionnaires, relevant to the previous activities: "Training VET trainers in the context of focusing on IoT, AI, AR paradigm and artifacts that are directly related with environmental and agricultural processes" and "Training VET trainees in the context of focusing on IoT, AI, AR paradigm and artifacts that are directly related with environmental and agricultural processes". In parallel, the validation process will include the utilization of well-known tools and methods for qualitative and quantitative assessment, and the introduction of peer teaching presentation activities, among the learners, and participation in competitions.

Dissemination Dissemination of beneficial results
Dissemination actions and events will be organised in the last 5 months of the project, as follows: One Multiplier event will be hosted in Athens at DIEK Aigaleo amphitheater, a very big amphitheater capable of hosting big events with more than 600 seats. If rising COVID19 restrictions again, all measures and a smaller number of participants will be accepted according to the regulations at that time (estimated 300). DIEK Aigaleo will organise a very big multiplier event aiming to present the results and the products of the SmartAg4VET project. Care will be taken for any health related measure due to the pandemic, so blended activities can be organized. All partners will follow the general guidelines and aims as set Dissemination and Exploitation Plan to be designed with the contribution of all partners at the beginning of the lifetime of the project. The Multiplier Event will focus on the presentation of the SmartAg4VET Program as a whole to external participants, its products with the main focus on the educational pack prepared to support Institutions to integrate the teaching of STEM and skills in their curriculum, the promotion of the COMPETITION which the consortium envisions to establish as an annual activity and the PLATFORM/MOBILE APP which will provide support to all Institution trainers. Potential Activities: 1. Presentation of the project’s aims, products and results: SmartAg4VET, Competence framework etc. 2. Exhibit the SmartAg4VET SOLUTIONS that have been developed and linked to the Food & Beverages scenarios. 3. Launching of the SmartAg4VET CHALLENGE COMPETITION and the YouTube Channel for exploiting the products and results of the VET Institution/ trainees/trainers ‘solutions’ to environmental/social challenges. 4. Presentation of testimonials of participants trainees/trainers and key experts from the market) views and experiences in the EU VET WEEK CONFERENCE.
